CareBuddy: SB9

Most rehab chairs are built to a standard, then adjusted after the fact. The SB9 CareBuddy is different. It starts with a core frame and is configured to the user before it ever leaves the supplier, with every component selected, positioned, and locked to a clinical prescription.

The result is a chair that supports thoracic alignment, dignified toileting, and safe transfers without compromise, whether in a hospital bathroom, an aged care facility, or a person's own home.

The SB9 CareBuddy Series was shaped by years of clinical feedback from occupational therapists and carers who needed a chair that adapts to the person, not the other way around.

Choose the right configuration for your client

CareBuddy is configurable from 3 base chair styles:

SB9T CareBuddy Tilt

Attendant propelled

Four locking caster wheels. Designed for high-care environments where full attendant assistance is required. Maximum stability and postural control for clients who need complete support during all hygiene and toileting routines.

Best for: Hospitals, residential aged care, high-dependency home care.

SB9Tw CareBuddy Solo

Self propelled

Front casters plus 22" rear wheels, dual handbrakes, and anti-tippers. For clients who can and want to control their own movement. The SB9Tw gives them the postural support of a tilting rehab chair without sacrificing the independence they value.

Best for: Clients with active rehab goals, home environments, spinal and neurological conditions.

SB9Tcw CareBuddy

Self or attendant propelled

22" front wheels plus two rear casters, dual handbrakes, and anti-tippers. The reverse-drive configuration makes it the specialist choice for tight spaces and positioning over toilets with in-wall cisterns.

Best for: Institutional bathrooms, narrow corridors, over-toilet positioning requirements.
