Solo Traveller: SB7w
The choice for lightweight, foldable, self-propelled shower mobility.
A lack of space makes bathroom mobility even harder - and that challenge does not disappear when you travel. The Solo Traveller shower commode chair from Showerbuddy was designed for users who need accessible or roll-in bathroom facilities and want to move through the world independently, without relying on a carer for every step.
Building on the compact, foldable frame of the popular SB7e EcoTraveller, the SB7W adds 22-inch self-propel rear wheels, flip-back lockable armrests, dual handbrakes, and built-in anti-tippers - putting the user in control from bedroom to bathroom and beyond.

Eco Traveller SB7e: How it works
-
Showering
Setting up the Solo Traveller is quick and requires no additional tools.
-
- Assemble the chair and fold out the frame in moments.
- Lock all four caster wheels in place and transfer the user onto the chair - flip-back arms make side transfers easy.
- Release the brakes and wheel the chair - or self-propel - directly into a roll-in or accessible shower.
- Lock the brakes before showering. The user can bathe comfortably while seated.
- Once finished, fold the chair flat and pack it into the carry bag for travel.

-
Toileting
The SB7W is a full bathroom solution. The integrated commode system means the chair can go directly from shower to toilet without any manual transfer.
-
- Remove the aperture cushion to allow for toileting.
- Wheel or self-propel the chair over most standard toilets - the open-front cushion and large rear-loading bucket accommodate use both over a toilet and as a bedside commode.
- Once finished, move straight to the shower without requiring the user to stand or transfer.
- Note: in-wall cistern toilets may not align with the commode opening. See specifications below.
